Hungarian Government System....

Ponyo and Sosuke were invited to a Hungarian friend's birthday party.


ぽにょとそうすけは、ハンガリー人のお友達の誕生日パーティにお邪魔しました。


I believe that the Hungarian people are multi-talented. They all seem to have at least 3 professionals. Honestly, they can do anything. Speaking of it, my husband used to be a civil police, a shooter, mountaineer, cabinet maker, mechanical engineer, shop owner, post office manager and he is now a shop fitter, joiner, and self-employed. The other guy had 10 professionals as well. 


ハンガリー人は、みんな多才です。みんな最低3つくらい違った専門職を持っています。
たとえば、そうすけは、昔、民間警察員、射撃者、登山家、家具師、メカニカルエンジニア、店経営者、郵便局のマネージャー、今は、お店の改装業、サッシを取り付けする仕事、大工さんのような自営業をしています。今日であった人も、10種類くらい違った手に職を持っているそうです。




According to my husband, the Hungarian citizens have to be smart to survive. The government system is going backwards. I had a taste of it when I had to deal with the Hungarian consulate and embassies in Wellington, Auckland, Canberra, Tokyo, Osaka, Hungary all around the shore.. 


そうすけによると、ハンガリー人は、生き延びるためにいろんなことを自分でできなければいけないといます。ハンガリー政府は、前進ではなく、後進しているそうです。私が、結婚するときにも、独身証明書がハンガリー政府から必要だったのですが、ウエリントン、オークランド、キャンベラ、東京、大阪、ハンガリーの大使館や領事館に一度ではなく、何度も問い合わせしましたが、たらいまわしで終わりました。。。


What we needed a just a paper from the government saying "He is single and doesn't have dependents. " We rang around, to cut it short, they didn't want to deal with it and we could eventually not be able to obtain the document before our wedding in Japan. 


たった、一言、彼は、独身で、扶養家族はいないという証明がいるだけなのに、結局、日本での挙式までに、ハンガリー政府からそれを入手できませんでした。


We asked NZ govt to supply one, they did it withing 7 days but unfortunately, now Japanese side didn't accept the NZ one due to his nationality was still remain Hungarian...


ニュージーランド政府に要請したら7日以内に届きました。が、残念なことに、国籍がハンガリーだったので、受理されず、結局法的に結婚したと日本で認められませんでした。。。


So in the end, we had to register our marriage in NZ so we sent our paper works to Japanese government from NZ. We could legally get married at last!


最終的に、ニュージーランドで、結婚登録してようやく法的に結婚したと認められました。


How difficult does it have to be? The public servants "want to help" attitude were seen not just in one department but in OZ, Wellington, Auckland, Tokyo, Osaka and Hungary. They were all the same that they just didn't want to deal with it and come up with all kind of excuses to avoid us!


Honestly, they were hopeless... Poor systems... Poor set ups... No wonder many people want to get away from their home country... I couldn't stand it!


とにかく、いいわけだらけで、たらいまわしにされただけでした。


No wonder the people are there on strike very often...


政府がこんなんだから、ハンガリーではよくストがあるんですね。。。
そうでないと、政府には伝わらないでしょう。。。


Hope the whole system will change. They cannot run their country like that...


この状況が早く終わるといいなと思います。


Sounds like EU is going to have a meeting with Hungary next week. Hope they could interfere!




来週、EUがハンガリーを訪問するそうです。EUが干渉してどうにかしてくれるといいです。
