Last a few weeks

Last a few weeks, I have been busy coping with my health condition, studying, working and familying.

I love going out with my dog. She had a good run and resting with mum:)

ここ何週間かは、体調管理に、勉強、仕事、家庭に忙しい毎日を送っていました。

犬と一緒に出かけるのが大好きです。

お母さんと一緒に走った後に休憩中です：）

She had enough run and took us under the tree:)

She loves this spot after the run:)

She is so cute and we love her very much.

もう、じゅうぶん運動したので、わんちゃんは、木陰に連れてってくれました。

いつも走った後休憩に来る彼女のお気に入りの場所です：）

すごいかわいくて、私たちはわんちゃんが大好きです：）

After this, we went to 70km up North to surprise my old flatmate. It was her birthday.

I baked my special Chocolate cake:)

It was so lovely to see her.

木陰で休んだ後は、70キロ北方にいる昔のフラットメートの誕生日のサプライズに行って来ました。チョコレートケーキを焼きました：）

彼女にあえてよかったです。

A few days later, Sosuke made a special silver "Joco"stamp for my soap:)

I love the silver order made stamp!

この2，3日ご、そうすけが、銀製の手作りのJOCO石鹸のスタンプを

作ってくれました。

これも、手作りで、大好きです：）

Joco's Birthday party and Flight Simulation

6th was Sosuke's Birthday.
I wanted to make a surprise party but many of friends were out of Auckland. Besides, he had a day off so he saw me cooking plenty of food! So I couldn't do too much about it but who's going to turn up was the only surprise:)

6日はそうすけの誕生日でした。
サプライズをしたかったのですが、ホリデー中ということで、友人がオークランドにいなかったり、しかも、そうすけが祝日と重なって一日中家にいるということで、大量の料理を作っているのを知っていたので、誰が来客するかはサプライズというちょっと中途半端なサプライズでしたが、そうすけが一番会いたい人たちがいらしてくれてすごくうれしそうでした。

First, we had a family + their friend came over:) They came to visit us before they left for North.
最初は、知り合いの家族とその友人が、ノースへ向かう途中に来てくれました。

Then we had other friends came around 4pm and this is the only picture I took out of that party.
あとのみんなは4時過ぎに来てくれました。この一枚しか写真取れませんでした。

 On Sunday, we went to Flight Simulation Experience:) It was something new and exciting for Sosuke.
日曜日は、フライト　シムレーション　体験に行って来ました。いつもと違ったことなのでそうすけはとても喜んでいました。

 He is leaning how to control the simulator.
まず最初に、機械をどうコントロールするか教えてもらいました。

 He had a couple of sessions that he went to Skycity and Manukau area.
Now he has to do it by himself and he is taking me to Kansai (Osaka, Japan)
It was snowing so we couldn't see too much during the flight:)
スカイシティに行ったり、マヌカウのほうにいったり2回ほど練習をしました。
そして、ついに私を乗せて、関西空港へつれてってくれました。雪で、フライト中は何も見えませんでした。

 Now we are Budapest. つぎは、ブダペストです。

 Now, we lost one engine. We are so far away from the airport.
エンジンがひとつ止まってしまったみたいです。空港までまだまだです。

 Awww , we have to land on the flat surface!
あーーー平地に緊急着陸するしかないみたいです。

 Phew, we managed to land safely...

 はーなんとか無事に着陸しました。

 Sosuke looks like a sailor rather than a pilot:)

 It was something different and was a good fun:)
We enjoyed it very much and thank you for the pilot.
そうすけは、パイロットより、むしろ、水兵さん？
いつもと違ってとっても楽しかったです。パイロットさん、どうもありがとう。

At night, our dog trainer friend came over for dinner and he cooked beautiful venison steak for us.
Thank you very much! We had a lovely day:)
夜は、ドッグトレーナーのお友達が夕飯に来客。彼が鹿肉のステーキを作ってくれました。
とってもおいしかったです。ありがとうございました。
今日も素敵な一日をすごせました：）

Repeat Customers

Last Saturday was our 4th time to be at the market.
We had 5 customers came back from last week and they liked our soap:)
Nice feedback motivates me to make quality soaps even more...
When you start a business, what motivates to get us going to have good feedback and believe that there are people like our products. So thank you so much for people coming back to us. It means a lot.

先週の土曜日で、4回目のマーケットでした。
先週にいらした5人もお客様が今週また石鹸を買いに戻ってきてくれました。
やっぱり、よいフィードバックはやる気を出させてくれます。
ビジネスをはじめたばかりのときは、やはり喜んでくれるお客さんがいて、自分の商品が受け入れられるということが続けていける糧となります。なので、本当に戻ってきてくれた人たちに感謝です。

Ponyo's morning

It's 6am in the morning. Sosuke is leaving for his work in 15mins. He was already up and take the soap out of moulds and cut them & stored them on the rack neatly.

朝の6時です。そうすけは、15分で仕事に出かけます。なのに、すでに起きていて、石鹸を型から出して、切って、棚にていねいに並べてくれました。

These need to come out of the box so the new ones can go in this morning.
これらの石鹸は、箱からだして、今朝作る石鹸の入る場所を確保します。

 They are on the rack(3rd row) and they can come out of the mould s in a week or so & start curing.
3段目のように、型のまま棚に置いときます。一週間くらいすると、型から出て、上のように熟成が始まります。

 These will be ready on the market soon.
こちらは、もうすぐマーケットに出せそうです。

 These need to come out of the box too. I just remembered Sosuke telling me that there was a customer at the market. She wouldn't believe that we were not using the soap base nor machine to make swirling. So I thought I might put up on the blog how to make swirling.
これらも、箱から出します。そういえば、そうすけが、あるお客さんが、石鹸ベースを使っているに違いない、そして、マーブルの模様も機械だといって、オイルから石鹸を作るということを信じてくれない人がいたというのを思い出しました。ということで、ブログでどういう風にマーブルを作るのかアップしてみようと思いました。

Firstly, you need to heat up the olive oil to 40 degree & caustic soda mixed with distilled water (also 40 degree) & mix thoroughly until you have the right trace.( this is for olive oil soap)
まず最初に、オリーブオイルを40度まで温めます。そして、苛性ソーダを水に溶かし、40度まで温度を下げます。そして、トレースが出るまでひたすらかき混ぜます。


Then mix pink clay & small amount of olive oil then add small portion of trace into the small pouring jar.

それからピンククレイ、少量のオリーブオイルを混ぜて、少しのトレースを加えていきます。

 Then pour the pink cloured trace about 6 different places into the trace.

それから、ピンククレイの色のトレースをトレースに6箇所くらいにわけて入れます。

 Then stir only 2,3 times. This is the key!
それから、2，3回かき混ぜます。　これがコツです。

 Then pour it into the mould.
そして、型に流します。

 Then we keep it in the box to keep the heat for over night.
それから保温箱に一晩寝かせます。

 In our soap curing room is a little warm with the heater to keep the temperature warm & humidity as close to 50%.
このお部屋で石鹸たちは熟成します。ヒーターを使って、できるだけ暖かく、湿度も50%近くになるようにしています。

At last, wash all the moulds and equipment and then finished!
最後は、型や、つかった器具などを洗っておしまい：）

Our Hungarian friends who had to move up to Auckland after the earthquake became our real good friends. They are like family now after living under the same roof about a month or so... They offered me that they can make an order made stamp for soap logo! They've visited us at the market every week. Last week, I was at the other market and Sosuke was at the usual market. They brought me a coffee:) How nice of them...

ハンガリー人のお友達、クライストチャーチの地震後1ヶ月ほど一緒に暮らした友達家族は、今では家族のような感じがします。そのお友達が、石鹸のロゴ（押し印）スタンプを作ってくれるというのです。彼らは、毎週、私やそうすけのいるマーケットに来てくれます。そして、先週は、わたしとそうすけは別々のマーケットに出店。なので、私は、彼らに会うことができませんでしたが、コーヒーの差し入れまでしてくれてたみたいです。本当に嬉しいです。

I have lots of B,C class soaps and started to use them as a kitchen soap. They don't melt too fast and they wash the dishes very well:) I like it!
B,C級の石鹸がいっぱいあるので、台所石鹸として使い始めました。思ったほど解け崩れません。それに、汚れも良く落ちます。いいかんじ！
